Thankful Thursday

I haven't done one of these in a while... So today this thankful Thursday is going out to my sweet baby girl Derline... We love you so so much and we can't wait to meet you and bring you home. We are so very thankful that god has brought you into our lives!! We know we have a long road ahead of us but we are so so thankful now to know your face your name and your story. We always felt your presence in our hearts and know we can see you too!! Asking god to put his loving arms around you while you are in Haiti and keep our baby girl safe!!
We love you Baby D!!

Thankful Thursdays

Oh it's sure been a long time since I did a Thankful Thursday!! So Today's Thankful Thursday is for Birthdays!! I am thankful for Birthdays! My Cousin Danielle finally turned 18!! She had been dreaming of this day for a while now! I remember my 18th birthday. My mom actually surprised me! I got home from something at school that night and I walked in the house with Zach and into the kitchen and there was all of my family and about 8 of my friends from high school! It was a big surprise! I had no clue and it was great! What a great memory to have and to think I am going to be 30 this year and I still remember it! I am sure Birthdays are something we are all Thankful For!!

Today I am Thankful for these 2 boys that have changed my life! I love them with all my heart and don't know what I would do with out them.

Thankful Thursdays

On this Thankful Thursday I am very thankful for summertime and the Baseball Season.. Such a fun time of year to go and watch Kaden play. The whole family enjoys it and so does Kaden.  Zach is helping coach this year so my little Wesley man is stuck with me during the whole game and so far so good! I am thankful for that as well.. Usually he is a daddy's boy when we are out and about!

Thankful Thursdays

Thankful Thursdays come and is almost gone and tonight I am thankful that my favorite summer time place has opened!! Yay for the Frosty Freeze! We made the drive over to Reynolds tonight for some yummy food and then some wonderful ice cream!! It was sooo Good!! We usually eat at the Frosty Freeze once a week during the summer and it is just tradition! So what do you say am I thankful for.... Well Ice Cream and yummy food of course!

I am also thankful for good friends. After coming home from the Frosty Freeze I went on a walk with a good friend and had a wonderful time. I am sure my legs will be killing me in the morning but oh well I have wanted to start walking for a couple of weeks now and finally did it!

Thankful Thursdays

Another Thankful Thursday has come and almost gone and I have spent some time thinking today about what I am thankful for as I do every Thursday. Today I want to talk about a very special woman who I have had the pleasure of knowing for about 13 years now. Her name is Thelma Price and she is my wonderful husbands dear grandma! Such a kind and caring woman who always had something funny to say! I am very thankful that I have had the opportunity to get to know her and have her in my life! Just this past weekend we took a table over to my aunt who lives next to Thelma and I decided that I would make my aunt Kim and Grandma Thelma dinner. So I made up a pan of my Lasagna, apple cake, garlic bread and lettuce salad.. The whole nine yards they were set for dinner!

I told Thelma about it and she was thrilled!

~~You see I did the same thing this past Christmas and took it all in to Thelma's and we had our dinner and celebrated Christmas.

Well ever since Thelma has raved about my Lasagna!!!......

I don't think its anything special.......

But she sure does and it makes her happy so that makes me happy! ~~

Well Wednesday night I got a phone call from Grandma Thelma and I was delighted to hear her voice she told me how wonderful my Lasagna was and she thanked me for doing that. She then told me that she was thinking I needed to make that a weekly event and make Lasagna for them!

She also told me that it was the best Lasagna ever and she wanted me to not ever forget how to make it!

I just smiled and told her that I would make some more Lasagna for her!!

So on this Thankful Thursday I guess what I am really trying to say is we all probably have a special someone in our life that maybe we don't realize just how special they are.. Stop and take a look and maybe...just maybe you will find someone that you are really thankful you met!

Thankful Thursdays

Don't have a lot of time today for this post so I am just going to say one of the first things I thought of this morning when I got up and took my shower.... Wow its Thursday! Thankful Thursday I am very thankful that the sun is shinning this morning! After the gloomy week the sun was something to be very thankful for! So that's it today I am thankful for the beautiful sun our lord had provided for us!

I love love love Thankful Thursdays! They have become very special to me and give me a little bit of time to reflect on the things in my life that I am thankful for!

Thankful for all 3 of these wonderful women! My Mammaw, Momma and Sister!

Tonight I am thankful for my momma... I love her so much she is wonderful! She has taught me over the years how to grow into the woman that I am today and how to be a loving and caring mom! My mom means the world to me and I don't know where I'd be with out her!

I am also thankful for my beautiful flowers! Last year we planted some new flowers in the front of the house and they looked good but oh boy this year they are thriving! It brings a smile to my face everytime I walk by them! They are wonderful!

As I sit here and write this it is starting to rain... We have our windows open at home and that sweet smell of rain.... Oh I am so thankful for that I love that smell in the Spring time it is just wonderful!

Thankful Thursdays

As I sit here and write my Thankful Thursday this week I am seeing things in a whole new light tonight and I know that I have one thing that I am very very very thankful for!

My Wonderful, Caring, Awesome, Loving Husband Zach!

You see tonight Zach was away at a class for work and he didn't get home till about 1am.. Well what is the problem with this or what was my light bulb moment in this! Well that was the whole night.. Usually we get the boys nightly things done together or Zach takes care of them while I am away doing one of my many things! I never realized how much work he does on his own while I am away working on stuff for PTO or working on things for Sorority or Leadership White County or the White County Youth Chamber... It just really made me sit back and think about all of that tonight and realize how lucky I am to have him and how Thankful I am to have him in my life!

I love you Zach with all my Heart!! I don't think you will ever know just how much I love you!!

Thankful Thursdays

Its really been kind of a long and trying week... One of those weeks you wish you could maybe redo or just speed through! I have decided I have a lot to be thankful for this week. I have also decided that I am really enjoying doing these Thankful Thursday Posts!

I am thankful for my family most of all this week with out them I wouldn't be who I am today and I probably wouldn't make it through!

I am thankful for the Journey.. Sometimes you may not know what god has in store but be thankful for the journey and learn for it!

I am thankful for the rain.... If I have learned anything this week it is that you have to deal with the rain to get the Rainbow!

Oh I am so very glad tomorrow is Friday.... Wait tomorrow is Friday right??...... Oh good I thought so! It has been a long week and I am ready for the weekend! I am even ready for the rain that we are suppose to get this weekend!

On this Thankful Thursday I find myself saying what am I really really thankful for in my life right now.

*** I am thankful for my wonderful husband who I adore and love more and more every day. I do not know what I would do with out him. He is my rock and lifeline. Together we are a team and working together is what we do best!

*** I am thankful for my two wonderful boys! I only thought I knew what love was until I had my boys. They are my reason for getting up in the morning the reason for going when I don't want to go. I love them with all my heart and I cant wait to see what they become and how they live there life!

*** I am thankful for my wonderful family who I love. They are there for me and I depend and count on them daily to help pull me through the hard times.

Thankful Thursday's

So I have seen some other blogs where they go through and list off things they are thankful for on Thursdays from the past week. I thought it was a really neat thing to do and a way to reflect on the past week and all the good things that have happened. Some of them have set a number on how many things they put down but my thoughts are some weeks you may be thankful for more things and thats ok! So here is my first start to Thankful Thursdays KRP Style!

* I am thankful for our wonderful vacation and making it home safely. Being home is such a great feeling and we often just want to get away but I always find myself saying there's no place like home!

* I am thankful for the beautiful sunshine this week and the warm weather.

* I am thankful for all of my new wonderful friends that I have made in my leadership white county class. What a wonderful experience I have enjoyed every moment of it and will miss our classes!

* I am thankful for my savior lord Jesus Christ for dying for us and washing away all of our sins. I am wishing everyone a Happy Easter
