Five Question Friday

Its been a while a long while since I did a Five Question Friday!! So what better to do on a snowy cold January Friday night!!

1. Where do you hide the reeeally good snacks?

I don't really hide them for say..... The whole family pretty much knows what they can and can not eat!! don''t eat mommy's treats!!

2. Do u keep your vehicle clean or am I the only one who has things falling out of their van?
If you have kids in your vehicle i don't know how to keep it clean... I love when its clean I often ask for this for my birthday or mothers day and it stays clean for about 10 minutes!!

3. Have you ever been to Vegas?
Unfortunantely no I would really love love love to go... Yes that was 3 love's!


4. Warm room light blankets or cold room warm snuggly blanket?
This is a hard one..... In the summer I want a cold cold room with lots of blankets! In the winter I want warm room warm blankets warm everything!

5. What is the worst airplane/flying experience you've ever had?
I can't really say I have had one.... Not having very many flying miles under my belt so far its been pretty good... I will say when our plane was delayed and then we boarded and then we had to sit on the plane for what felt like hours to get some book signed that was not fun at all!

Who is ready for this 3 day weekend?? I sure know I am!! I always hate coming back to work after a 3 day weekend but at the same time I love the extra day off!! We should have plenty to do this weekend since our little town is celebrating its 150th birthday!! We always have a big festival but this year it is going to be even bigger!! So let the party begin!

1. If you had the opportunity to bungee jump, would you?

I think I might... It kind of looks like fun and what can I say you only live once!! I don't think I would drive myself to do it but if I was in the right place at the right time and the opportunity was there sure I would!

2. Would you rather go to the movie theater or to the drive-in?
I really like the drive in 2 movies for the price of 1 is a great deal!! The problem is staying awake for both movies!! and the bugs I hate the bugs!!

3. Do you have your groceries delivered?
No I do not... This would be nice when going on vacation to arrive and already have my groceries there!! That would be amazing!

4. Eyebrows: Do you wax, thread, pluck, or stay au naturel?
I wax and pluck

5. Would the people you went to high school with be surprised by your life today?
I dont know probably not but then again maybe!

Five Question Friday

It's Friday!!! Yeah!!! I am ready for the weekend and for some reason this week actually went pretty fast! It was full of bad news, a birthday, good news, meetings, baseball practice and a bunch of other stuff!! Phew I'm tired and really wanting to sleep in on Saturday Morning! Tonight we are going up to the annual Fish Fry to help support the annual Wolcott Summer Festival! I really don't like the fish but i love the broasted potatoes!! Yummy!! At any rate its an easy supper.. Well I haven't done one of these in a few weeks and thought I had better get back at it because they are fun! So here it goes!!

1. If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be?



hmmmmm... Well i would have to say I would exercise more and eat healthier so i would be thinner!!! there i said that pretty well! lol...


2. Write about a time when you got lost.


Oh my goodness.... Well it was on one of our annual trips south to the smoky mountains for thanksgiving and we were trying to find a road to get to the cabin check in place.... It was me and my sister Karie and we thought we were on the right road.... We were on Tuckaleechee road or so we thought.... we drove up and down this road called the cabin place told them we were on Tuckaleechee road they said ok you will see a Baptist church and a cemetery.... Well in the south those are on ever corner so of course we saw one... Well we drove up and down this road for probably an hour and then we figured out we were on Old Tuckaleechee Road..... Tuckaleechee Road was up a little ways and we finally found it but yeah for about an hour we were lost!! After that we were ready for the amazing race!  
 3. Camping 5 star hotel?
I really want to say camping here..... the man and the Little's love camping..... the man was brought up camping and the Little's have gathered that and really want to go..... I went once and was totally scared out of my mind I hated it and swore I would never do it again.... the only way would be in a camper... I think I could handle that..However we don't have a camper so for now I am going to stick with 5 star hotel!!  


4. Have you donated blood?
Nope I haven't I would really like to but needles don't like me!! For real they just don't like me... I also have some weird antibodies in my blood so I really wish I could donate because my blood is very rare so I feel like I should but really I can't!


5. Do you have a budget or do you 'fly by' most months?
For the most part we fly by... I don't like it and I would really like to stick to a budget...

Five Question Friday

Well it's Friday the day we all long for! Friday means 2 days off work, Friday means time with the family but this Friday means SPRING BREAK!! That's right and we are staying home this year......Frown, Big Sad Face : ( We usually go down to Panama City Beach and have a great time but this year we decided that we would do a summer trip to the beach instead so that means staying home for Spring Break! It really sounded like a good plan when we were talking about it a few months ago. But now that the time has come I really just want to jump in the car and head south!! The weather at Spring Break is really hit or miss and this year it looks like a Grand Slam! Looks like sunny skies and 75-80 degree weather! Booo Hissss that's not Fair! Oh well we will get ours this summer! So for now we will have to make the best of spring break here in boring Indiana!

1. Have you ever testified in court? For what?

Nope I never have and I really hope that I never have to.. I mean it just sounds scary to me! I am sure I would get all shades of red and blotchy like I do when I am nervous.
 2. Do you still have your wedding dress?
I sure do it is in a box in our bedroom. I am not really sure what I am going to do with it... I can't really think of any events that I would really be able to wear it too but at the same time it is very special to me so I still have it!
 3. Is there a special place you like to go when you're happy, sad, stressed, etc.?
Were I really like to go is too far to drive just any ol day! I love Panama City Beach and it is always a good stress reliever for me! Going for a walk for me seems to be a good stress reliever and sometimes I will go to barnes and noble and sit for a while and drink a cup of coffee.
 

4. If you have kids, do they sleep with you? If you don't have kids...will you let your kids sleep with you when/if you have them?
I have kids and they do not sleep with us thank god! When we are on vacation our youngest will sleep with us but that is about the only time. I am very happy that we never started this routine with our kids!

 5. Do you watch late night TV?
Nope not very often... most of the time I am fast asleep in bed!

Five Question Friday

Ok its finally Friday... I actually think this week went by pretty fast! I got my Expedition fixed carmax had it since last week. A $650 repair only cost me $50 thanks to the warranty I bought with the car!! Yay me! Then Zach and I tried out Dave and Busters while we were in Indy and we really enjoyed it and we will be taking the kids back some time soon!! Good Food, Good Drinks and Great Games for the kids and adults! I remembered to pick Kaden up from Basketball practice this week and now its Friday! Tonight we are having a suprise birthday party for my cousin Danielle and its going to be great!! I can't wait to see the look on her face and give her the gift that we bought for her!! Fun Fun times!!

1. Do you know what your REAL hair color is?



Um... Yes..... Well... Kind of ?? Hmm the color that I see peeking through is a ugly grey color! I have been dying my hairs a very dark brown/black color and I really love it. I am probably darker now than I have ever been I would say my natural is more of a dark brown not really black.. but then again I am not real sure! Sometime I have red highlights in my hair which makes since I mean my mom is a red head!!
 2. Do you plan ahead for summer, or fly by the seat of your pants?
Yes and No I have to plan ahead for baseball games and football camp and vacation but any other days that are left we pretty much fly by the seat of our pants.. You know a trip to the frost freeze or maybe Indiana Beach to eat some yummy taco's and then on over to the drive in to catch 2 shows for the price of 1 ahh you gotta love summer!!

3. What is your favorite meal to cook?
I really like cooking my crockpot it is so easy and you can make some really yummy meals in crockpots! I think my favorite is a crockpot lasagna that was very yummy and easy! My favorite thing to cook not in a crock pot is baked spaghetti!

4. Do you get offended by not receiving thank yous?
Sometime but I guess not really... I really like sending other's thank yous when they have helped me out. I feel like hand writting something and mailing it has been lost these days and it just makes you feel extra special to get something you aren't expecting in the mail!

5. How did you meet your best friend?
Well I would honestly say that my best friend is my husband.. I tell him everything and share all my thoughts and emotions with him! He is great we meet the summer 97 and we have now been married for 10 wonderful years!!

Another good friend that I have is from school we have always been there for each other. We don't actually see each other that often but we know we are just a phone call or text away!

Last but not least is another great friend that I have really gotten to know by being in PTO with her and out kiddos being the same age! I just really relate to her and I consider her a really good friend of mine. I go to her for advice and to moon and complain!

Ok really last last but certainly not least is my sister.. She is a wonderful friend and I love her to pieces she would do anything for me and I would do the same for her!

Five Question Friday 03/04/2011

1. Have you ever forgotten your child in a store or at school?

Umm yes I sure have twice this year!! I forgot Kaden at Spanish club I was  to be there at 4 to pick him up and the school called at 4:15 to let me now Kaden was still waiting for someone to pick him up! Oops! and then I forgot Kaden at After School Basketball.... I know I know what is going on this year with me.. Kaden used a friends dad's cell phone and called Zach and then the friends dad took him home! Yep I'm that mom forgetting my kiddos here and there!


2. Where did you go on your very first date? (Like...first first, not first with your spouse or current significant other!)
I am really not sure I am going to guess to a movie or something like that..... I am sure it was me and some of my friends and then a group of guys! Very lame I know!!

3. What's your "silly" fear? (We're not talking water and heights.)
Silly fear.... hmmm what is my silly fear..... I hate driving my car and coming upon a motorcycle I am afraid the motorcycle will have a wreck and then I will run over the motorcycle driver with my car! I know that is pretty silly right??


4. Confrontation: do you cause it, deal with is as it comes, or run far far away?
Wow what a wonderful question for the week that I have just had! I like to say that I try to find the best in most people and I try to avoid confrontation. However when that is not possible I am learning that it is better to get it all out there in the open and try to talk through the situation... I would not say I am great at it. I would also say that I do not cause it!


5. Wood floors or carpet?
I like both... I just got new wood floors in my office and I love them however I will be putting down a small area rug! So I guess I would probably say I prefer carpet!

1. Would you rather be on ABC's Extreme Home MakeOver or TLC's What not to Wear?




Extreme Home Make Over for sure!! I love that show... I would even be happy with them just adding on a few rooms for me I don't need a whole new house!! I mean I would take a whole new house but I'm just saying I wouldn't have to have a whole new house!! I have always wondered where oh where do they put all your stuff at and do you get to keep it... I have a lot of things that I am pretty attached to!


2. Do you have any tattoos?
I sure do I have a tattoo of a 3 leaf clover on the top of my right foot... It is about the size of a quarter and really it didn't hurt. I got this one for my love of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish!! I really want another one on my foot down by my ankle but I have been told that its not a good spot for a tattoo... hmmm so that leaves me thinking what to do what to do!


3. Do you tell your kids about things you did growing up?
Some times but usually they have no clue what we are talking about and they totally don't get it! lol.... so that just leaves me scratching my head and saying why do I bother!



4. If the traffic signal turns yellow, do you stop or speed up?


Well it kind of depends on where I am at in the process of the light..... If I am already committed I speed up but if I am still back enough I will stop.... And sometimes if I have already had my share of yellow/red lights I will most definitely speed up just to break the cycle get through that light and then have a handful of green lights!!


5. What's your preference: chocolate or chips?


I prefer Chocolate Chips! Yum-O ...... you know really it kind of really depends on my mood or time of the month! ha.... Sometimes you want something salty.... and chips really do the trick and other times you want some have to have some chocolate! I really can't say I prefer one over the other!!

1. Do you feel guilty spending money on yourself?



Um Yeah sometimes when I know there are other things I should probably be paying for! Shhh don't tell The Man!!


2. How well do you know your neighbors?


I know there names does that count!! I really wish I had a better relationship with my neighbors! Well as I was typing this I was like Duh Karena you are forgetting about the neighbors that you do know!! Your Pa and Sister so I do know some of my neighbors pretty well!! lol.....


3. What age are you looking forward to being?


I am looking forward to being in my 30's I know its less than a year away and i can't wait!

4. Do you get excited when the mail comes? Why?


Sometimes yes if it is something other than a bill!!


5. What is your earliest childhood memory?
Its hard to say I remember a lot of things but I wonder if I remember them because I have seen pictures.. Pretty much everything before I was in Kindergarten is kind of a blurr... Like I said have lots of pics but don't really know how much I remember!



Wow that sure feels good to be blogging again!! I have missed the whole summer on here and need to play some catch up and get some stuff posted!!

Five Question Friday On A Saturday Night

1. What is your favorite thing about summertime?


I love the Baseball games, Swimming, 4th of July, Drive Inn Movies, Summer Camps, ice cream, watermelon, corn on the cob, family reunions,  Kids being out of school... I pretty much love it!

2. What is your ideal retirement location (if money didn't matter)?
I would love to retire at the beach... Probably my favorite Panama City Beach! I would take a house right on the beach or even a nice big condo about 8 floors up that would be perfect!


3. Do you live in the same town you grew up in?
I sure do!! Sometimes I wish I didn't but I pretty much for the most part love it!

4. What nervous habit did you have as a child that you kicked to the curb before becoming an adult?
I use to bite my nails all the time and finally kicked the habit after becoming an adult.... I now have long nails and I love it! I do have acrylic out over them to keep them nice looking but they are my nails underneath and I no longer bite them!!

5. What is the most embarrassing thing that happened to you while on the job?
When I worked at Taco Bell for 1/2 a day... yes I said 1/2 a day!! They stuck me in the TCBY part all by myself and it had rained the night before and I went to push the drive up window open and it had water in it and got all over my pants... looked like I peed my pants!! I was so embarrassed!
 
 
 

Five Question Friday

Its Friday..... Finally Friday!! YAY!!!! This week has been crazy and there is still a few more crazy weeks of June left! I still can't believe how busy June is with all of Kaden's running for sports.... Baseball, Basketball Camp and Football Camp.... But he loves it.. He said last night man I'm a busy kid!! I thought ha your telling me!

1. What do you think makes a good friend, or friendship?
Communication is key!! Being able to talk about things openly with each other and laugh and cry together makes for a great friendship. Looking at each other from across a crowded room and knowing what the other is thinking that is a great friendship!

2. What is the last thing you bought & later regretted?

I spent the extra money at Bath and Body works a few weeks back to get this bag full of goodies... Then I had to pay like $25 for the bag or something like that.. It came with over $100 of stuff in it that I will use at some point and it looked like a good deal...  heck it was a god deal but I really didn't need it just an impulse buy I kind of regret buying now!
3. Have you ever had a prank played on you?
I am sure I have.... nothing is really coming to my mind currently... Thinking..... Thinking.... Thinking.... Ok skipping this question and coming back when I get done with 4&5..... All right I am back and I have nothing.....nothing that sticks out in my mind that is.. I am sure at some point something has happened to me but I am not thinking about it at this moment.. So there you have it no prank!

4. What is your favorite theme park?
I haven't been to all that many theme parks but I would probably say Kings Island or Dollywood... We really don't go all that much and I am not a huge ride person so theme parks are kind of just not our thing!


5. Have you ever seen someone else give birth?
Ummm no unless watching A Baby Story on TLC counts!!
 
 
 

Five Question Friday

All right here we go the moment we have all been waiting for.......Its Summertime!!! Yay Schools Out for The Summer!!! Well thats a big Yay if your a kid I guess... But for me that means lots and lots of running the month of June and I am already wishing July was here!! Oh Well Its all for my kids so no biggie! Now On with the Questions and Answers!!

1. If you could go back to college would you change your major? Or, if you were to go to college right now...what major would you choose?

I always wanted to be a teacher so I would probably do something with early childhood education. I love all the time I spend at the school with PTO so I know I would love being there all day teaching them!! The only other thing would be something with computer programing.... I am always fixing computers at work or home and I always joke with myself wow Karena if you had a degree in this you could be making some big bucks!!

2. What do you love most about your home?
What I love the most is that it is our home! Its isn't just a house we live in it is our home. We bought it and fixed it up and the thought of moving somewhere else just makes me sick! Sure there are things about my home that I would change but I am very much attached to our home! One thing that is very special about our home is our Kitchen Cabinets. When we moved in we redid our kitchen. Well some friends of ours were also redoing there kitchen and I was in the right place at the right time and learned that the cabinets they were getting rid of were made by my husbands grandfather! Such a special addition to our home. We were able to get these cabinets from our friends who were just going to use them in there garage and they are now in my kitchen. We did paint them and put new pulls on them but they are still old cabinets made from the 70's by Grandpa Herb! Such a neat neat story and I love my cabinets!

3. What types of books do you like to read (if you like to read at all)?
I am not so much a reader I never have been and probably never will. I do like self help self motivating type books. Right now I have been reading through "Don't Sweat The Small Stuff For Women" Great book of short stories of things that happen in life and how to deal with them.... The other book I have been reading is 1-2-3 Magic.... I will let you know at a later date how that works out for me!

4. What is the grossest thing you've ever eaten?
Nothing is really jumping out at me here! I would say that when I was little I was at a family reunion in TN and we had some BBQ well I thought it was gross and come to find out it was BEAR BBQ!! I am not for sure if it really was the grosses thing I have ever eaten but I just remember how freaked out I was by that!


5. If you HAD to be a character on a TV show, whom would you be?
A Character on a tv show..... Hmmmm I am not sure here I am going through all shows that I have watched and loved over the years....

I would love to be Meridith Grey because well hmmmmm Mc Dreamy.... Need I say more!

1. Is there something you've always wanted to try but just can't muster up the courage to actually do yet?



I would probably have to say Karaoke... Unless it is in my car I don't sing out loud! I love to sing but I sound really bad and people would probably laugh!


2. If you had $100 handed to you in cash without your significant other knowing about it, what would you spend it on? $100 thats all.... I would probably buy a new purse something cute just for me!




3. What was your favorite piece of playground equipment as a child?
The Mark Four I loved that thing and now its gone : ( My children won't even know what the Mark Four was! Or the swings and seeing who could go the highest! Those were always good times!


4. Do you prefer a sweet or hearty breakfast?
That depends most of the time I would probably say Sweet... I love cinnamon rolls, monkey bread, and french toast! Biscuits and Gravy are always good too!




5. Are you a Neat Freak or a Messy Bessy?
I am a little of both... When my house starts to get messy bessy I tend to kick into neat freak mood! So what ever the in between would be that is me 90% of the time!

1. Do you have an iPhone and, if so, how do you get apps and what are your favorites?

Nope  I don't have an iPhone,,,, Just a BlackBerry and I love it.... I kind of wanted an iPhone but AT&T has really bad service where I live so that's not an option for me!!
 2. What is your fondest memory of K-3rd grade?
fondest memory from K-3rd grade.....hmmmm I really loved my 1st grade teacher Mrs. LeBeau she was the best and my son Kaden also got to have Mrs. LeBeau I was so happy about that! Another fond memory about that time of my life would have to be that we could all just be kids play have fun and for the most part get along... didn't have to worry about money or deadlines or any of that crazy stuff!

One other fond memory would be a birthday party that I had I think when I was in second grade.... I had about 8 girls over for a sleepover and we were all downstairs in our sleeping bags trying to go to sleep... When one of my friends ....Grrr I am drawing a blank on her name right now...grrrr really karena this can't be happening.. All right All right I guess I will have to ask my mom tomorrow.... Well anyway one of my friends says to all of us girls that they heard there was a mass murder loose in town and then next house he was going to hit was the Holders!! SCREAM SCREAM SCREAM!!! We all took off running up stairs with our sleeping bags and woke my mom up!! She let us all sleep on the floor upstairs in fear that the mass murderer was coming to get us!



3. What makes you cringe at the thought of touching?


Vomit and POOOOOOOOP yep that's right I hate both of them I can do a pretty good job with the POOOOOP of my children when they were little but for the most part they both make me gag and want to throw up! I think the smell is really what gets me and I get all psyched out!



4. If you could have any celebrity show up on your doorstep who would it be and why?
I would love love love for Kenny Chesney to show up at my doorstep and we could just sit and talk for a while about this that and everything.... I know I probably wouldn't do much talking because I wold be drooling over him because he is unbelievably HOT!! and to quote my husband "yeah and he is like 40"

I would also love for Ty Pennington to show up at my door because this would mean he is tearing down my house and building me a new fabulous one!! Ha I can only wish!!



5. What would you say is your best physical feature?
My husband would probably say the girls!!  but I am writing this not him and I would say my eyes I really do like my eyes they tend to change colors with what I wear and I think that is really cool! I also on most days like my hair!!

So I am really starting to like doing these 5QF I really look forward to it and it is my time!! yeah yeah I know its just 5 little questions but it allows me to escape for a few minutes!

1. Take your pick...date night, girls night out, or night out alone?





Take your pick huh..... hmmmm well I would not pick night out alone I am not a huge fan of that unless I am really having a bad day or stressing out! I am thinking right now date night and girls night out would probably be a tie! yes I know I can hear my husband now saying hey hey what about me!!




2. Can you touch your nose with your tongue?


I Can Not touch my nose with my tongue! I have never been able to do this.... Oh believe me I have tried and tried and tried.... I even tried again when I read this question... lol... the answer was still NO

3. What is your favorite flower and why?


Oh this is kind of a hard one.... I am a big fan of Orchid's simply because I think they are beautiful the meaning of an orchid is Rare beauty, love, and refinement. I am also a big fan of Lilys.... these beautiful flowers mean wealth, pride and  innocence.

Oh and I also would like to add that Carnations are Awful and my husband knows that he not dare bring me one home!! I would probably throw it in his face! They remind me of Dandelions or something of that nature! Yucky blucky yucky!!  ............... Ok glad I was able to get that out!!




4. If you could go back in time, what advice would you give yourself?
I would probably tell myself to live a little more and maybe to have waited just a few years on having my kids! Don't get me wrong they mean the world to me but I would have definitely lived a little more! I would have also kicked my butt for dropping out of college!!

5. If you won the lottery, what is the very first thing you would do?
I would pay off all of my debt, my parents debt, my grandparents debt and my mother in laws debt! Yeah I'm nice like that!! I would make sure we were all debt free and then we would have some fun with the rest of the money!

Five Question Friday

1. What is your worst memory of your siblings?


Fighting... I would have to say looking back on it now I always fought with my sister over the stupidest things!! I wish instead of fighting we would have been doing something more productive! Oh well that fighting is probably what helped make us who we are today!



2. What was YOUR naughtiest childhood memory? (Must be something YOU did, no pawning it off on someone else!)

Well I am not real sure here when you think childhood I think of small child like 10 and under! I have plenty of bad things I did in middle/high school.... hmmm I remember this one time I was probably in 4th grade and we had a music contest and the winner got a gift certificate to the pizza kind for some garlic bread.... Well this other girl had told me the answer and I just so happened to have music before her and I used her answer!! Well I won the little contest and was so happy but then felt oh so bad......... So being the nice girl that I was I ask her to come and eat the garlic bread with me!!

Then when we were in middle school I would always get the Captain Morgan down and fill up a mountain dew bottle with it and take that to my friends house... Well the Captain Morgan was slowly disappearing and I needed a reason for why... So I told my parents that when I opened the cabinet the bottle fell out and busted.... A whole bottle just gone... So sad..... They believed me!! So as you might imagine this started something even more I now knew I could get away with it!!



3. Where do you like to go to relax?

I like to go to the beach!! Panama City Beach is my favorite spot! If I need to relax during the other 51 weeks in a year I would have to say on a walk is always nice or laying in my tanning bed for 20 minutes usually will do the trick and recently I have started going back to Barnes and Noble that always works for me get a few books and some wonderful coffee and sit down and read!



4. What was the last thing you won?

I won some tickets to Indiana Beach!! Woo Hoo I am sure we will use those this summer!!



5. If you could be on a game show, which would you choose?

Deal or No Deal! I love that show.... However when I was little I loved Family Feud and Supermarket Sweep!! LOL this would really probably be a hard one I would just be thrilled to be on any game show!!

1. If you could, would you go back to high school?

Ummm.... I am thinking the Answer to this would be Yes... Yeah I really said yes can you believe that.. Thee are some things I know I could have so done better in high school and I would like a do over on some things! Going back to high school would mean I am younger and don't have kids so I guess I wouldn't like to take any of that away!




2. If a genie appeared and granted you two wishes, what would they be? (And, no saying "more wishes".)


Oh wow what would I wish for....... hmmm I am thinking first wish would be for lots and lots and lots of money! I would want to pay all my bills and my parents bills and make sure everyone was financially secure! Then I would want to dream big give lots to great wonderful charitable endeavors! Buy a vacation home in Florida and Tennessee and live happily ever after!

Second wish would be for all of my family and friend to live a long and healthy and happy life! Following there dreams and having no regrets!


3. What kids show do you secretly like?
Oh who am I kidding I really like Mickey Mouse Playhouse, Drake and Josh, and icarly

Beverage can mean a lot of things so I am just gonna give you several answers!

5. What is something that you would change about yourself (or are working to change in yourself)?
I am trying to work on being a better person and paying it forward just a little more than I already do. Listening a little more and trying to help others!

I would also like to shed some pounds! I think I have a few more of those than I really need!

1. What was the first car you owned?





First car I ever owned was a 1989 Pontiac Grand Prix and I was in love!! That car was a fast car and I thought I was hot stuff!!




2. What song are you embarrassed to know the lyrics to?


Oh dear what have you started..... now I am singing all the Barney Christmas songs in my head again!! Yes Barney songs I am embarrassed that I know the lyrics to any Barney song!!






3. Have you ever had stitches?




Well my first instinct was to say yes....... and then I thought about this a little more and heck yeah I have had stitches!! I have 2 beautiful wonderful awesome boys to thank for that! I had a cesarean delivery with both of them and that came with plenty of stitches!!






4. What was your first job?
First job..... first job..... first job I would say babysitting was my first job that I actually got paid for other than that I would say Dairy Queen and wow was that a crazy place to work! The lady that owned the place was old and awful.... I remember her telling us to just pick mold off the buns and serve them!! Yes you heard me right! I didn't work there long and after telling my mom I think the Health Dept might have gotten a call!




5. Who is your favorite Sesame Street character?
I love Elmo I always have and always will!! For my 16th birthday I had an Elmo cake! Yep I said 16th birthday...lol.... I know kind of funny now but I still love that cute little red fellow!

1. Who would you want to play you in a movie of your life?

I would have to say Sandra Bullock I love love love her and she was awesome in the Blind Side!


2. Did you ever go to summer camp?
I sure did I went to church camp several times and I went to Volleyball camp at Purdue. Great experience and a lot of fun!

3. What sends you running and screaming in the other direction?
hmmm.. Well I would have to say bugs I hate hate hate bugs of all kinds...except pretty butterflies and lucky red ladybugs! I have always hated bugs.. When I was little maybe 2 years old I threw a huge fit did not want to put on my shoes because I thought there was a bug in my shoe! I do not remember this but my mom loves telling the story!


4. What is something you do that drives your spouse nuts?
oh I am sure there are plenty of things that drives my spouse nuts some that I probably don't even know! I would have to say maybe the way I squeeze my toothpaste out of the tube.... or all the shoes that I have...... or the way I can't sit still.....

5. What is currently your favorite song?


I really like Martina McBride's new song Wrong Baby Wrong Baby Wrong...... I think it really just has a good message and it is a fun some to sing.... you know in my car when I am all by myself!

I also really like Uncle Kracker some Smile!! I love love love that song!

Five Question Friday 04/02/2010

1. Do you sing out loud in the car when you're driving?


When I am driving by myself I sing out loud.... and I sing very loud!! I love it such a great stress reliever! I love cranking up my music and you never know what I will be listening to could be country, rock, old school, hip hop just never know! mainly on the interstate I like to do this driving through town is taking to big of a risk that I will get caught!



2. What would you never be caught doing?

What would I never be caught doing.... hmmm I am giving this question some thought... still thinking there is probably a lot of this I would really not like to be caught doing... I really don't like saying never because sure enough I say never and then bam it happens! so lets just say I would never be caught answering this question!



3. Will you go #2 in a public restroom?

If you have to go you have to go! I do not like to do this but like I said sometimes you just have to!  And a public restroom is better than my pants!



4. Have you ever broken a bone?

Nope when I was younger I always wanted to break a bone... my sister broke her leg when she was about 4 and I was so jealous of her... But thankfully I have never broken a bone!



5. Do you prefer cooking or baking?
I really enjoy baking ..... I can cook but I prefer baking!

1. Did you pass your driver's test on the first try?


Sure did! I got a waiver and didn't have to take the driving test so all I had to take was the written test!!



2. What is your most embarrassing moment?

I was in middle school at a football game and I was running down the bleachers and fell. I ended up sliding down several rows of bleachers... So embarrassing and it hurt really bad!



3. What TV show would you like to be on- Oprah, Biggest Loser, or What Not to Wear?

Biggest Loser I think... I don't like the fact that I can't see my family for that long of a period of time but being given that chance to get healthy would be awesome!



4. Would you ever get plastic surgery and what kind?

Is a breast reduction plastic surgery I would have to say yes!
