Tasty Tuesday!

All right so here it is... I know you have all been waiting and waiting to see what my second Tasty Tuesday would bring and let me have a drum roll please..................................Crock Pot Lasagna and it is starting to smell very yummy! I threw it all together while I was home at lunch and can't wait to taste it!!

Crock Pot Lasagna

1 diced onion
 garlic, oregano, basil, salt and pepper seasoning

2 large cans crushed tomatoes

1 lb of ground something

3-4 cups shredded mozzarella

2 15 oz cottage cheese

1 box of lasagna noodles

Brown 1 lb of something with onions, garlic, oregano, basil and throw in some salt and pepper of course Toss in the crushed tomatoes. You layer everything in the crock pot: broken up dry noodles, meat mixture, cottage cheese, mozzarella. I do about three layers, so just divide up everything you have by three and layer it all us!  5 hours on low or 3 hours on high


  1. How are the noodles? My problem when the noodles aren't boiled is they come out crunchy or tough. So just curious how it turned out.

  2. It was wonderful!! Kaden loved it which was great for me since he never wants to eat what I fix!! He told Zach I think this should be in a cookbook!! lol... too funny! If anything the noodles were almost to soft. If you are scared about the noodles you could always try the oven ready ones! I cooked mine on high for about 3 hours! I didn't get to eat with Zach and the boys at 6 so Zach just turned it down to low and I came in about 9 and ate it and I was in Heaven!
