10 Years Old Already??

How can my little bit#1 be 10 years old.... It doesn't seem possible. Makes me want to cry a little bit because I am realizing that he is now getting much closer to turning 16 and then 18 and then moving out and going to college : (  that's what makes me sad.. I am excited to see him turn into a wonderful young man who loves to help people and puts others first. I know how he is already so I can only imagine how he will be as he gets older!  I am excited to help him fulfill his dream of playing football after high school whatever that may be division I, II, III or junior league. Its Kaden's dream and I have always told him "You Can" if you put your mind to it you will succeed!! I love this kid he is the greatest!!! We love you our first born red headed wonderful child.

To Celebrate his birthday he had 5 friends over on Friday night and we all went for pizza then bowling and then to DQ for a treat before we came home. The kids had a great time and got along really well!! They all spent the night and I think stayed up until about 2:30 in the morning!! Then they woke up bright and early! We took the boys home around noon and Kaden's birthday fun with friends was over!!

Next was Kaden's celebration with family... I played a little trick on him telling him I didn't have a very good cake that i had forgot to order one.. So I brought a plain old cake at Walmart and told him that was his cake... Well he kind of believed me then on Sunday Morning I told him I was going to get him a gift and came home with an amazing cake all done up with Notre Dame Football!! He loved it! It was now finally time for family and we had a great afternoon with family. Kaden got some great new gifts a helmet for the go card some new baseball shoes and his favorite was an ipod touch (something he has been wanting for over a year now) He had a great birthday. We are so blessed to have such a great family!
