Five Question Friday

1. If you could, would you go back to high school?

Ummm.... I am thinking the Answer to this would be Yes... Yeah I really said yes can you believe that.. Thee are some things I know I could have so done better in high school and I would like a do over on some things! Going back to high school would mean I am younger and don't have kids so I guess I wouldn't like to take any of that away!




2. If a genie appeared and granted you two wishes, what would they be? (And, no saying "more wishes".)


Oh wow what would I wish for....... hmmm I am thinking first wish would be for lots and lots and lots of money! I would want to pay all my bills and my parents bills and make sure everyone was financially secure! Then I would want to dream big give lots to great wonderful charitable endeavors! Buy a vacation home in Florida and Tennessee and live happily ever after!

Second wish would be for all of my family and friend to live a long and healthy and happy life! Following there dreams and having no regrets!


3. What kids show do you secretly like?
Oh who am I kidding I really like Mickey Mouse Playhouse, Drake and Josh, and icarly
4. What is your beverage of choice?
Beverage can mean a lot of things so I am just gonna give you several answers!

Coke ,Water,Sweet Tea ,Iced White Chocolate Mocha

Pina Coladas, Malibu & Hawaiian Punch, Cherry 3 Olives & Coke

5. What is something that you would change about yourself (or are working to change in yourself)?
I am trying to work on being a better person and paying it forward just a little more than I already do. Listening a little more and trying to help others!

I would also like to shed some pounds! I think I have a few more of those than I really need!

Thankful Thursdays

Its really been kind of a long and trying week... One of those weeks you wish you could maybe redo or just speed through! I have decided I have a lot to be thankful for this week. I have also decided that I am really enjoying doing these Thankful Thursday Posts!

I am thankful for my family most of all this week with out them I wouldn't be who I am today and I probably wouldn't make it through!

I am thankful for the Journey.. Sometimes you may not know what god has in store but be thankful for the journey and learn for it!

I am thankful for the rain.... If I have learned anything this week it is that you have to deal with the rain to get the Rainbow!

Barnes & Noble

So Barnes & Noble + Me + Starbucks Iced Chocolate White Mocha + Chocolate Cupcake = Relaxation, Enjoyment, Me Time, Pure Bliss!

Yep that's what I did tonight I went and got my nails done and then headed over to Barnes & Noble I wanted to get the Storybook Bible for the boys so we could start reading it and I was looking for some books on adoption. Well I found the Story Book Bible and I found several books for me! Some encouraging books. Don't sweat the small stuff kind of books!

So I did something I hadn't don't in a long time..... I went and sat down at a table got me a coffee and a cupcake and read my books... It was pure heaven! I loved it! I sat there for about an hour and just enjoyed the moment took it all in. The book I was reading the sounds, the smells.

It has been years since I have done thing probably at least 5 years... Zach and I use to go in and do this all the time and we had so much fun... Its funny how something so small can make you so happy!

Five Question Friday 04/23/2010

1. What was the first car you owned?





First car I ever owned was a 1989 Pontiac Grand Prix and I was in love!! That car was a fast car and I thought I was hot stuff!!




2. What song are you embarrassed to know the lyrics to?


Oh dear what have you started..... now I am singing all the Barney Christmas songs in my head again!! Yes Barney songs I am embarrassed that I know the lyrics to any Barney song!!






3. Have you ever had stitches?




Well my first instinct was to say yes....... and then I thought about this a little more and heck yeah I have had stitches!! I have 2 beautiful wonderful awesome boys to thank for that! I had a cesarean delivery with both of them and that came with plenty of stitches!!






4. What was your first job?
First job..... first job..... first job I would say babysitting was my first job that I actually got paid for other than that I would say Dairy Queen and wow was that a crazy place to work! The lady that owned the place was old and awful.... I remember her telling us to just pick mold off the buns and serve them!! Yes you heard me right! I didn't work there long and after telling my mom I think the Health Dept might have gotten a call!




5. Who is your favorite Sesame Street character?
I love Elmo I always have and always will!! For my 16th birthday I had an Elmo cake! Yep I said 16th birthday...lol.... I know kind of funny now but I still love that cute little red fellow!

I'll Be Right Back

Tonight it was the cutest thing my mom called and needed a pan that I had. So I had Kaden run it over to her. Well Wesley thought that he needed to go to and he followed his bu bee out the door and down the sidewalk to mom's. I went out side and watched and Wesley followed Kaden over to mom's. Well Kaden made it there first and left his little brother behind. Just as Wesley started to go up the steps to my mom's porch he looked back at me and yelled "I'll be right back" It was so cute I loved it and fell so much more in love with my little Wesley Man!

Thankful Thursdays

Oh I am so very glad tomorrow is Friday.... Wait tomorrow is Friday right??...... Oh good I thought so! It has been a long week and I am ready for the weekend! I am even ready for the rain that we are suppose to get this weekend!

On this Thankful Thursday I find myself saying what am I really really thankful for in my life right now.

*** I am thankful for my wonderful husband who I adore and love more and more every day. I do not know what I would do with out him. He is my rock and lifeline. Together we are a team and working together is what we do best!

*** I am thankful for my two wonderful boys! I only thought I knew what love was until I had my boys. They are my reason for getting up in the morning the reason for going when I don't want to go. I love them with all my heart and I cant wait to see what they become and how they live there life!

*** I am thankful for my wonderful family who I love. They are there for me and I depend and count on them daily to help pull me through the hard times.

A Kiss is just a Kiss

A Kiss is just a Kiss..... RIGHT ?? Well wrong not if you are the mommy of a 2.5 year old and he has never actually given you a kiss!! Well that's my Wesley he will give hugs the best little hugs and he will let you kiss him but he won't give a smooch back!

Well... we have had a major break through! Wesley was kissing the wall tonight and Zach said to him why don't you kiss me like you kiss the wall and he did!! He kissed daddy several times and then we had to trick him.... "Don't you give mommy one of those kisses " and he did and it was the best little kiss I had got in a long time!! I love my little Wesley and I really love his kisses! He makes the cutest little sound when giving them it is just great! Ahh the joys of being a mommy!

This Too Shall Pass

I find myself searching...searching for an answer that I know is not there.. searching for strength that only god can provide and I find myself holding on to what I believe in and what I know to be right. I love the saying This Too Shall Pass... Well tonight I found the whole poem and wow what I break through for me. I read it and then read it again and cried and then once again read it. At this very moment this is my anthem the song that I an singing.

Pacer's Fun

Well for Kaden's Birthday Party we took him and a friend to a Pacer's game. Yeah Yeah I know the Pacer's.... Not such a great team but still a day full of fun! Kaden got 3rd place for Hoops for Heart at school so he was invited to the Pacer's pregame activities for the American Heart Association.


What does that mean.... Well it was pretty Awesome! Kaden and his friend got to go down on the floor with a bunch of other kids and do the Pacer's Fit Program with Boomer the Mascot and then they got to shoot hoops in the NBA Pacer's Basket's!! The boys had a blast and it was a lot of fun to watch them!

After doing this we went to the Pacer's gift shop the boys got jerseys and then we went to eat. We were going to go to the hard rock and eat but they weren't taking anymore people. They had a party of 150 coming! Ha Love all Serve All is what there building says well not today!!

So we ended up at Scottys Brewhouse and it was great... Food was good and the boys had fun watching tv at our seat!

We then walked back down for the game and went to our seats. Our game seats weren't as good as the seats we had for the pacers fit program but they were still pretty good!

All in all the boys had a good time the pacers won and they boys made it on the big screen for there dancing moves!! Pretty neat to see them up on the big screen!!

Five Question Friday 04/09/2010

1. Who would you want to play you in a movie of your life?

I would have to say Sandra Bullock I love love love her and she was awesome in the Blind Side!


2. Did you ever go to summer camp?
I sure did I went to church camp several times and I went to Volleyball camp at Purdue. Great experience and a lot of fun!

3. What sends you running and screaming in the other direction?
hmmm.. Well I would have to say bugs I hate hate hate bugs of all kinds...except pretty butterflies and lucky red ladybugs! I have always hated bugs.. When I was little maybe 2 years old I threw a huge fit did not want to put on my shoes because I thought there was a bug in my shoe! I do not remember this but my mom loves telling the story!


4. What is something you do that drives your spouse nuts?
oh I am sure there are plenty of things that drives my spouse nuts some that I probably don't even know! I would have to say maybe the way I squeeze my toothpaste out of the tube.... or all the shoes that I have...... or the way I can't sit still.....

5. What is currently your favorite song?


I really like Martina McBride's new song Wrong Baby Wrong Baby Wrong...... I think it really just has a good message and it is a fun some to sing.... you know in my car when I am all by myself!

I also really like Uncle Kracker some Smile!! I love love love that song!

Happy Birthday My Sweet 9 Year Old Baby Boy

Its hard to believe that 9 years ago I had one of the most wonderful things happen to me! I became a mom! I found out just exactly what unconditional love was. Sure its had its ups and downs but wow I wouldn't trade it for the world!

I love my Kaden and his Red Hair!! Sure the red hair gets some pretty interesting comments..... Since I have Dark Brown hair and my dear husband has dark blonde hair! .... Oh he belongs to the milk man... lol... No not really my mother has red hair and my husband's dad has red hair so there you have it we got a red haired hazel eyed wonderful athletic smart caring lovable 100% all Boy!!

So on this day we aren't just celebrating Easter this year but we are celebrating Kaden's 9th Birthday!

Five Question Friday 04/02/2010

1. Do you sing out loud in the car when you're driving?


When I am driving by myself I sing out loud.... and I sing very loud!! I love it such a great stress reliever! I love cranking up my music and you never know what I will be listening to could be country, rock, old school, hip hop just never know! mainly on the interstate I like to do this driving through town is taking to big of a risk that I will get caught!



2. What would you never be caught doing?

What would I never be caught doing.... hmmm I am giving this question some thought... still thinking there is probably a lot of this I would really not like to be caught doing... I really don't like saying never because sure enough I say never and then bam it happens! so lets just say I would never be caught answering this question!



3. Will you go #2 in a public restroom?

If you have to go you have to go! I do not like to do this but like I said sometimes you just have to!  And a public restroom is better than my pants!



4. Have you ever broken a bone?

Nope when I was younger I always wanted to break a bone... my sister broke her leg when she was about 4 and I was so jealous of her... But thankfully I have never broken a bone!



5. Do you prefer cooking or baking?
I really enjoy baking ..... I can cook but I prefer baking!

Thankful Thursdays

Thankful Thursday's

So I have seen some other blogs where they go through and list off things they are thankful for on Thursdays from the past week. I thought it was a really neat thing to do and a way to reflect on the past week and all the good things that have happened. Some of them have set a number on how many things they put down but my thoughts are some weeks you may be thankful for more things and thats ok! So here is my first start to Thankful Thursdays KRP Style!

* I am thankful for our wonderful vacation and making it home safely. Being home is such a great feeling and we often just want to get away but I always find myself saying there's no place like home!

* I am thankful for the beautiful sunshine this week and the warm weather.

* I am thankful for all of my new wonderful friends that I have made in my leadership white county class. What a wonderful experience I have enjoyed every moment of it and will miss our classes!

* I am thankful for my savior lord Jesus Christ for dying for us and washing away all of our sins. I am wishing everyone a Happy Easter
